I'm tired

But I know I can't go to bed until I blog or else I will never hear the end of it from Nes. I guess that's what I get for always riding her ass, LOL. I drove to Karen's today which means a lot of time on the road for me. I have a book on tape but I didn't start it, I just listened to some music and talked on the phone. Today Mich was the lucky recipient of one of my phone calls, LOL.

I went into Whole Foods this morning to pick up some stuff and had a blast. I love that store, well everything but the prices, LOL. Tere were samples everywhere which made it even more fun for me. So I come out with a spring in my step and walk out to a thunderstorm! Where this came from I have no idea! Here I was happy when I left my house that it was so nice out I didn't need to put my jacket on and now I'm stuck driving to Karen's in pouring rain. I was not looking forward to the drive but I got lucky. The worst of it was in the Atlanta area both coming and going so traffic was only slow in a couple of parts. I got home in less then 2 hours on a Friday night in the rain, I was ecstatic!

By the time I got home it was 6pm. I could have taken a nap then but got caught up in doing various things and next thing you know it's 8pm and too late for a quickie nap but at least I know I'll sleep well tonight, LOL. I really do hate it when work gets in the way of my naps. I hope to not make a practice of it.

Tomorrow my goal is to clean the kitchen and work on some new blog pics. I also need to go to the gym since I didn't go today or yesterday. If I make it tomorrow that will be three times for the week which was my goal. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 70 degrees, woo hoo! As you can see, I am go go go on my weekends, LOL.

BTW good news, my second microphone is here, I no longer have to share mine!!!

I love Whole Foods too, chick. I had my first experience there last week and just loved it! But the prices are a bit high. It did hurt my pocketbook. LOL. Look at it this way, at least you had the car and weren't walking when it decided to Thunderstorm. LOL. Way to go getting the second microphone. Now for the duets. LOL. We have two with our set, but the cordless one is weird. The battery doesn't fit right. I have to jimmy the fixtures on the inside. But when it works, then I'm a superstar!

I swear I don't get the appeal of singing like that... Don't get me wrong, I love watching someone ELSE do it, but me? Huh uh.

Was Mich happy to hear from her asian Queen? I'd love to overhear one of those convos LMAO

Sorry you had to drive in a storm, not fun at all, that.
The weather here was horrid today, we got like 5" of snow, now it's 12:45 am and blowing hard enough that the tree outside my bedroom is flexing in the ground enough to make my walls creak. I'm seriously considering going to sleep in the living-room right now...

There is no Whole Foods here, not that I know of anyway. Sounds like a neat place.

Have a great day tomorrow chica :)

Poos about the weather. I am not totally sympathetic however as we are having to deal with the crappiest summer ever! Misery loves company and all that! Have not even had a chance to sun myself, under the umbrella with my spf 5000000, on my new deck! Which blows muchly as the ds would say!

Got your mail today. Ta luv! Love your camera to, it is gorgeous!

Ro, where the heck is your performance? We are waiting.....

Aims, you just wait chick. LOL.

Leiha, don't know what Whole Foods is. Time to go back take pics and blog about it. LOL.

Yup, Whole Foods can definitely be pricey but man, their selection is awesome!

Well I did walk through a flood to get to my car. Good thing I had on flip flops, I hate wet socks!

Duets are fun, I can't wait!

Aimee, don't you sing to the radio? This is just like that but with a microphone! Or the artist, LOL.

Everyone is overjoyed to get a call from the Asian Queen, I just think a lot of people hide it, LOL.

Sorry about the snow chick. Stay warm!

Well the sun is shining and it's supposed to be 70 today so I no longer share your misery Sarah, LOL. Of course, the weather can change on a dime so I better not gloat too much. Sorry you can't lay out on your fab new deck. BTW, I got your card and pics. I swear, you always send me the most fab cards and I love how lush everything around you is.

I was too tired to test out the sub mic, I will try it today, it'll be awesome if both the sub mics worked! Maybe I'll hope two mics up while singing with Su, she has a loud voice and I don't want to be drowned out, LOL.

I think you should sing into the two mics and hear yourself in nano-stereo! HAhahahahahaha. Tempting you, aren't I? ;-)

Whole Foods is the only place I can ALWAYS find fresh fennel, and a few other not-too-common veggies. You're right, they have the freshest selection.

The weather is sooo weird this year. Is 70 normal for this time of year in GA? Makes me sit up and take notice a little more to the whole global warming issue.

Have you tried Jenna's idea yet? *HAH*

You definately need to watch the weather girly.

I was waiting in line at Big Lots today and the lady behind me commented on how warm it was today....then she said, but you know, it may be snowing next week.
That is so true.

I can't tell you how many mornings I've sent the kids off bundled up like eskimoes and it'll get hot as heck, or they go off on a nice, warm morning with no jacket and come to find out that was the high temp of the day, dropping from there, and could be 20 degrees colder by that afternoon.
I can also remember a couple of snowstorms people got caught in because they either didn't believe the forecast, or the forecast was off.

The meteorologists predicted an "average" winter for the southern US this year. I can tell you, 70 degrees and tornadoes in January aren't generally average around here.

LOL, well I really shouldn't let me new mic go to waste!

70 is not the normal around here, defnitely global warming. I love the warmer temps but they say it's not going to last and there's a hundred percent chance of rain today. Ugh!

I don't like fennel seeds but I had a dish once with fresh fennel and it was so good What do you use it for?

Missi, I noticed as soon as I moved here how mercurial the weather is here but yet it still comes as a shock to me when I walk out of the store in the middle of a thunder storm, LOL.

L, I make LOTS of italian...my fave. I love, love ,love Giada de Laurentis of Food Network. (I don't like the flavor of fennel seeds either.) Remember when I told you I try to hide veggies in Jerry's food? I make an italian (very healthy) version of potatoes au gratin that I mix 2/3 potatoes with 1/3 sliced fennel. My family loves it so much that when we have anyone else's potatoes, they whisper to me something's missing.

A healthy version of potatoes au gratin, you have to share it chick! I love that dish but never make it cause it's so fattening. I can't wait to try it!
