I bought new glasses yesterday. They say a week and a half but she said they normally come in sooner then that, which is the good news. The bad news is she wants me to see a specialist, something about the macula in my left eye. Have no clue what that means and my hypochondriac friend Nancy didn't know either. I just went in there looking for a pair of glasses, I came out with a referral for a retinoligist or opthamolagist, LOL. Don't worry, Nancy and I decided I would look quite fabulous in an eye patch. I may get one just because!
I ordered 2 pair of glasses (won't make the same mistake twice) and I got the transitional lenses which is cool because I was tired of the prescription sunglasses I have, too bad one pair of glasses I bought looks like my sunglasses, LOL. So til I get my new glasses I will be wearing contacts and sunglasses. Yes, I'm wearing my sunglasses at night!

Hahahaha you know the poor postie was probably expecting nice things, like biscuits and tea and you scared the poppet. Good luck getting the glasses early and I reckon an eye patch would definitely be appealing, but I hope not necessary ;)

Did the eye Dr. mention Macular Degeneration? Make an appointment ASAP after Chirstmas and keep us posted.

Yep, I agree - get the appointment ASAP. Your eyes aren't something to mess around with. That was a good idea to get two pairs; quite smart thinking. :-) I'm thinking the postwoman ran back to her truck thinking there was a dying animal in the home, or a crackpot singing karaoke alone in her home. What kind of frames did you get for the glasses? Something totally trendy I hope *G* and I will totally have my fingers crossed & the best vibes going out that there isn't anything serious going on in those purty eyes too!

Of course I will be taking pics to debut my new glasses. I may have to take some pics outside so we can check the transition lenses out.
I will of cours let everyone know the status of my eyes as soon as I do. I'm not going to worry until I have a reason to.
