Since you all asked...

Here is the pic of my newest bookshelf. Isn't she a beauty? All loaded down with Karen's books! It's quite exciting. I remember the feeling of going to Karen's house and seeing the shelves over flowing with her books, I was soooo impressed and now I have my own shelf full of her books, yay! I really do still pinch myself. Notice how I didn't take a picture of the whole room. That bookshelf was the only clean space in there, LOL.

I can not believe I forgot to share this experience with you last night. Yesterday I was introduced to something new. I've heard of them but was hoping to never see one for myself. I got to see first hand, scurrying around my kitchen floor the biggest cockroach in the world! Nancy was on the phone and laughing her ass off because she got the shrieking and screaming and the hopping up and down (that part happened when I tried to step on it, I think the roach lifted me off of him!). I was able to scoop him out the door. Good thing I have no food in my house, if they're looking for sustenance they need to keep on stepping!

I'm watching Return of the Titans right now. I love this movie! It's a movie with a lot of heart and they sing in it also, LOL. It's not really a football movie, it's more about the relationships. Watching the bonding moments makes me think about and miss my girlfriends.

I also wanted to say welcome back Joanie! I'm sorry that you were so sick. I missed seeing you around here. I hope that you get better soon!

I am grinning like an idiot right now, although I'm not sure why,LOL.This puts my double collection of KMM's to shame. You even have more Adam than me now,Leiha, what the hell is up with that?I thought for sure with my four I would outdo most peeps. That's just wrong,LOL.Really, though,if *I* am feeling giddy over YOUR bookshelf,I can just see the look on your face, after all it IS yours,LOL.

Someone once said when the world ends, there will be cockroaches and Cher.I like Cher.Roaches, not so much.Raid is a joke.Stepping on them only works if you do it long enough to possibly wear some tread off your shoe while you are at it.We have a guy come once in a while and spray all around the perimeter of the house,it works okay, but they still invade the garage now and then, for the dog food, ick.

That is a bookcase to envy! You go on and Brag girl, I would!

Cockies are disgusting. Sydney has the worst I've ever seen. About 7cm long and they fly! Bleurch.

We had an exterminator come out once and he told me never to step on them as you can squash the eggs out that then are carried all over your house in your shoe tread. So now I spray the crap out of them and run.

Bo, would you drop me an email at joanie scott at hotmail dot com (no spaces in my name, obviously) I would love to talk to my "twin" on the other side of the world! So many similarities is a bit spooky ah?

Keep the photos comin' Ms. L!

Cockroaches! Someone once told me that cockroaches are a city bug. I have never seen one around my area, (Touching my head so my luck doesn't change.) I do still have that bug cookbook and am willing to look up recipes for you. Crisp and crunchy snacks!!

Great bookcase,Leiha. Now you need a couple more.

Yup,, the bookshelf is all mine! Too bad the books that are on it are not, I am the temporary guardian but I still love it, LOL. Apparently they like to call these giant roaches palmetto bugs. I call them giant roaches!

Thanks for the info on not stepping on them Joanie!

Spiders don't bother me because I'm not worried about an infestation, LOL.

Duh, yes, Remember the Titans!

LOL, thanks for the offer Reny and while this roach was big enough to be a potato chip, I think I shall pass.
