it's time to change the look of the blog. Really it was because I wanted to add Bo's slogan and I couldn't do that without deleting the previous header so I decided to spruce it up some while I was at it. I think Mac is rubbing off on me because right now I'm all about the pink.
I also ordered my dress from Nordys. I tried to find out if they had it locally so I could pick it up and get it altered before the cruise but the closest one was in VA and I didn't feel like driving up there to pick it up, LOL. I'm getting the dress in fuchsia since I have a red dress. Of course, I may have to order the red too if I love the fuchsia.
Speaking of fuchsia, my fuchsia plant did not survive. I have been trying desperately to keep a hanging plant alive and it just wasn't happening so I dumped out the fuchsia and re-potted one of my houseplants. You know, the plants that even if you kill them they come back to life. I have several ones of those so I just know this one will stay alive. I also took some cuttings so I can re-plant basically the only plants I can keep alive, LOL. The hanging plant looks lovely and even more importantly, it's alive, ALIVE I SAY!
I did cut some hydrangeas that are growing outside my door and added them to my plant cuttings. Too bad none of my vases made the move from LA so they're sitting in my water pitcher, LOL. Yet another thing to buy eventually.
Well the lst of my shows aired tonight. I have to say, I was expecting more. Even though the ending had a twist I didn't expect it wasn't quite the game changer that they were hyping. I was also surprised at the major death. I didn't think that was going to happen. Why didn't he run OUTSIDE the door and then shut it? It was still a good episode and the 9 month wait is going to suck but it wasn't great. I guess that could be said about a lot of tv this year. I hope there's something new on the horizon that will be exciting. I noticed a lot of crappy reality shows coming our way. I enjoy reality shows but I have no interest in America's Got Talent, The Great Inventor or anything else I've seen commercials for. Is there any summer program that you are looking forward to? Thank goodness I have books that need to be read!

Uhm, chick, your posts are all on the far right now and the links and your profile is way down below....
I can't wait to see a pic of you in that dress. Fucshia is a great color too! Maybe even better than the red.
I need to get some new houseplants as well. I still have a couple of plants that are still from the original move 8 years ago. Time to repot them.
I've been so busy, we need to play ketchup soon.
Love you and miss you.
Black thumb ...say no more. I have a wonderous garden proudly showing a large range of indigenous weeds. That's my story and yup, sticking to it. I love the piccies in the black and stripey dress, fucshia sounds lovely
Yeah I think you need a BR tag or something. Everything is lined up on the right side.
I have some plants I don't know the name of that have been hanging on for awhile. My great-aunt gave my son three bulbs after he admired her plant, so I planted them in some pots and sat them out beside the front porch steps and forgot about them. They didn't do anything for along time, then one day I noticed they'd sprouted.
I managed to kill them, of course, the I left them alone and they revived. I killed one of them again recently, but I have hopes he'll come back eventually.
I bought four tomato plants and one pepper plant, that seem to be doing allright so far. I'm planting them in pots this year so I can move them around to sun and water.
Yesterday I was cleaning off my kitchen counter and found a bag of strawberry plants I bought last year and never got set out. I planted them in the same pots as the plants my aunt gave me, just to see if they'll do anything. If they turn green, I'll transplant them in another pot or maybe in the yard. But I'm not sure they're going to make it.
I'm hoping to watch So You Think You Can Dance tonight, but if I miss it, no big deal. I know I won't be watching it regularly enough to worry about missing the first one or whatever.
Sunday is supposed to be the last episode of the last season of the Sopranos, I am waiting impatiently to see how that's going to go, although I hate that it's the last one.
I sure do hate to see that show go. It's my favorite all time ever show.
I'm waiting for Rescue Me to start it's new season. It may already have, I need to check, I guess. I think it's supposed to start in June, if I recall rightly.
Four more days - are you excited? I am excited for you.
I hope you know you're headed for a new addiction, though, lol.
You know I checked it in safari and mozilla firefox, dang internet explorer! OK, it's fixed, thanks for your help. It's hard to fix something I can't see, LOL.
I can't wait to get my dress either. She told me it was back ordered so I won't get it for a couple of weeks but it will be a perfect summer dress. I can wear it with flats during the day or heals at night.
I'm sure my plants could use some re-potting but I figure it's easier to cut off the long pieces, LOL.
Chez, your garden sounds lovely, LOL. I've pretty much accepted that I'm just not meant for plants that take any kind of work. I tried.
Missi, I am not motivated enough to actually plant anything. I did look at some herbs in the store thinking I should plant those but then came to my senses, LOL. Maybe next year. I need to pace myself! Strawberries sound wonderful though.
I'm totally excited! I pulled out my suitcase but the only thing I have in it are books, LOL. I will start throwing clothes in today and I need to go to the store to buy myself a shower scrunchie. I am sure I will be developing a new addiction, LOL.
Aww,you put my slogan up there! I didn't know I was such an influence,LOL.
You know, even though I hate girly pink, hot pink & fuschia rocks! I was so excited last year to find an AC/DC shirt that was black with the logo & 'Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap' in hot pink on the front.Score!!!
I know the dress will look fab on you, can't wait to see it!
I've got a black thumb, too.Haven't had houseplants in at least 5 years.I would like to try some tomatoes, onions and peppers in big pots on the porch,I think it would be great to have fresh salsa when I wanted it,but they'd probably all die.I need to talk hubby into doing it & taking care of them-he's the one who took a master gardener course when he worked for the city parks dept.
I'm anxiously awaiting Rescue Me,too.June 13,woohoo! That's my second fave show,I've got the first season on DVD.Then it should be the new season of Nip/Tuck after that. How are you liking the second & third seasons anyways, have you had a chance to watch yet?
Try the fuchsia outside next time, they tend to prefer it to inside. They get mites and might be a bit warm. My Mum has given me a whole heap of cuttings so am growing them at the moment.
The new look is nice, saw it last night when it was all to the right, looks vera nice now!
Nope, I haven't had a chance to watch Nip/Tuck but I don't have cable so I will have plenty of time soon enough. I think I need to invest in a DVD player. I've been using my puter but DVDs are so cheap. It's time.
Nancy told me the fuchsia was an outdoor plant, but I didn't want it outdoors. Of course, now it's in the garbage, LOL. I've given up on flowering plants. I'm sticking with the hard to kill houseplants.
