Make each day count

I read an interview with my friend Karen (she's a frequent poster here) in which she says her goal is to make each day count and I found that incredibly moving and I have decided to make a concerted effort to do the same for myself. When I am with my friends I have the time of my life but when I'm at home I can easily become a hermit. I'm a nester at heart and while I don't mind that I still want to make each day count. I want to try and have a laugh out loud moment each day. I think that's easier said then done. How often do we really laugh? Not as much as you would think. So I'm going to make each day count by laughing out loud and enjoying each day, no matter what it brings.

Lately, I have been a complete and total hermit. I haven't been on my computer or talking to anyone. I have been wrapped up reading some of my most favorite comfort reads and reading series with new releases this month! However, I do try to make sure I have a least one good laugh a day!

I like your thought. I laugh every day - Mostly because if I didnt laugh at the dumb stuff I do all the time I would have to cry :) Last week I rode the vanpool home and left my house and car keys at home, this week I left the hose running and it burst and sprayed over the side of my house for 24 hours.... I could go on but you see, just laugh and it makes the problem seem not so bad.

Oh sweetie, you make me cry. I'm incredibly honored that you mentioned me on your blog. Just thinking about you makes me smile and my day a little bit brighter. Hugh hugs!

I really like to live by that rule as well. Life's too short and I want to fill it with as much as I can with as many people as I can. And truly enjoy life!!!
