I've eaten and I can't get up

One thing's for sure, Linda T knows how to cook. The stacks of cookbooks, piles of pancake molds and specialized cooking pans should have been a giveaway (she has a steamer just for asparagus!) but the best way to decide if someone can cook is eating their food and I look forward to many opportunities to have Linda cook for me, LOL. I ate until I could eat no more but I couldn't let the last couple of bites of mashed potatoes go to waste so then I ate even more! We had a pork tenderloin, yukon gold mashed potatoes, gravy (her own recipe), a shrimp, crab and avocado salad, homemade applesauce and to top it off an orange chocolate chunk mini-bundt covered with chocolate sauce and homemade vanilla ice cream (with a couple of strawberries for garnish). I had seconds of everything but the dessert, I just couldn't fit anymore in but lucky for me, Linda sent some dessert home with me and it's calling my name.

I love your plan Ann! Any way you can get out here works for me! Since I've been to one of your parties I know how awesome a cook you are but I also know how hard it is to be inspired to cook for one. Now that I have Jordan around I am actually having to put some thought into cooking, today, grilled cheese sandwhiches on my foreman grill and artichhokes, LOL. We're still stocking our fridge.

As for the move, I had built in company with my family which makes all of the difference in the world and I have Sandra and Linda T here, built in friends, it's awesome. I always say as long as I know one person in a town I can move here so I'm positively overflowing here:) I don't know if I'm brave or crazy but it's been interesting so far.

I can't believe that you're an introvert, that's so not the Ann I know! And you are an awesome friend which is why you have awesome friends (like me, LOL).

You know you're welcome anytime! BTW, Linda T needs my help alphatizing her books, I told her I was a pro.

I'm assuming you're not talking about the grilled cheese sandwhiches I made last night although Kathy did say they were the best she had ever had or something along those lines, LOL.

Yep, I do love having friends who cook and most especially if they cook for me:)

I'm just laying the groundwork for when I eventually make it to Australia, LOL.
